Besides, I don't see their post as 'looking for' things to complain about either -- like I've said, they have the right to like what they like and dislike what they dislike. . I did have some problems with how easily it was overcome though. The Pokemon of legend bestows upon them a Z-Ring, a necessary tool in using the Z-Moves. I did I think Lillie overcoming her fear of pokemon was a little to quick, everything seems to be suddenly moving so fast as if they want to get this part of the story done and move onto the next thing. Lillie was able to overcome her fear of Pokemon because now she understand that Type Null is actually her savior, not something that tried to attack her. And the preview for the next episode shows Lusamine battling using Clefable!! Its nice to Lusamine being good, but I also liked her as a villain because it would have been something different for the Pokemon anime to do, but I'm okay with her being good.
Maybe this is jumping the gun a bit, but given how conclusive they played this episode as for Lillie's phobia I have my doubts they have anything more to offer to her once the Aether Foundation will leave the spotlight. Team Skull doesn't seem to be doing anything this series So many questions. I'm honestly quite wary of the next episode given that in spite of the opened Ultra Wormhole, it seems like they will crank the comedy up to eleven at the most inappropriate story time. Him being already a Silvally and easily seeming obedient clashes a bit with Null's game lore, but that's one thing I can let slide due to different universes. That said, I have quite a few issues with how the episode was handled. Everyone saying lillie got over poketouching fear too quickly but, goddamn, its been 49 episodes. Later that night, he and Pikachu have an encounter with the guardian deity Pokemon of Melemele Island, the mysterious Kapu Kokeko.
At the school, when he and one of the students—the no-nonsense Kaki—have a run-in with the nefarious thugs of Team Skull, Satoshi discovers the overwhelming might of the Z-Moves, powerful attacks originating from the Alola region that require the trainer and Pokemon to be in sync. His talking about how her greatest desire is to meet the Ultra Beasts, as well as her obvious excitement on finding out Faba had opened a wormhole before, suggest to me that she might start focusing more and more single-mindedly on that like in the games, despite how much this episode showed that she does honestly care for her children. Between attending classes, fending off the pesky Team Rocket—who themselves have arrived in Alola to pave the way for their organization's future plans—and taking on the Island Challenge that is necessary to master the Z-Moves, Satoshi and Pikachu are in for an exciting new adventure. It fully showcased Lillie's memories, her reason behind her fear and her progression towards coping with it. Makes me wonder what Faba's deal is, why he thinks he can get away with this shit, and why Gladion ran away in the first place.
I loved pretty much everything about it! Seeing Litten and Lycanroc training was nice to, I just hope Litten will evolve soon. The fact is however, that with Gladion and Silvally around, Aether Foundation aren't really a threat. Will we ever see Guzma? She understood the fear and with that she was able to surpass that difficult. Disclaimer : This site anilinkz. Also, the biggest issue is probably how Lillie's arc is heading. The use of Gladion and Lillie's themes at key points in the episode was spot-on perfect, and seeing Silvally do a bunch of cool things was amazing. After his mother wins a free trip to the islands, Pokemon trainer Satoshi and his partner Pikachu head for Melemele Island of the beautiful Alola region, which is filled with lots of new Pokemon and even variations of familiar faces.
Other than a few problems, it's still a great episode. The way they handled Silvally's Memories was so cool, and they showed Lusamine in a bikini, which is hilarious. It's not so much that she's a good guy in the Anime moreso than the fact that in becoming good she literally lost her relevance. Eager to explore the island, Satoshi and Pikachu run wild with excitement, quickly losing their way while chasing after a Pokemon. I wonder where they're going with the Aether family story line though. Faba was also soundly beaten by Silvally which had a strong showing since it blocked off Ash.
But even so, if Lusamine is not the villain I'm probably going to hate it anyway. Clearly that is not going to happen, not only the made a Faba the villain instead of Lusamine, a pathetic villain at that, but if the preview of the next episode where Faba is doing a Sailor Moon dance is any indication, then this show is never going to get serious. It's no Akala for sure, but I hope this insane pacing won't be the standard past this arc for plot in this series now. All contents are provided by non-affiliated third parties. I think the small bit with Lycanroc and Litten was beautifully done - very obvious that we're getting Torracat opposed to a Rowlet evolution in the coming episodes. Now, this would be more tolerable if her replacement villain, Faba, was actually changed enough to fill her now empty villain seat, but they actually changed him very little from the sleazy second fiddle villain he was in the games, where it worked fine since he was just that, a second fiddle villain. Aside from being a caring mother, she literally had no real impact on the plot so far and even from the summaries of the next few episodes all she will apparently contribute is be kidnapped. I'm not sure what on earth the anime creators intend for the rest of this series. I hope to be wrong, but as usual I can only judge what we know so far. Putting aside that trauma isn't brushed off so easily in real life, it's still a shame that they seem to have made it so Lillie can now touch Pokémon again since it makes most of his previous episodes' development irrelevant and it also basically solves her one character hurdle, which makes me worry that once the Aether arc is over and Lusamine is saved Lillie will have nowhere else to go as a character and will end up just like Mallow currently is, just standing around and getting nothing as a character. Seeing such a complex and interesting character shortcharged like this is honestly a shame. They are making her ignorant!! Is Faba going to be relegated to Team Rocket status, always trying but failing to capture Nebby? And especially after ep 48 they wouldnt be able to do the same trick with the same impact.
